Live for the Moment

As a senior in her last quarter of high school, I find that I’m often looking forward to the future instead of living in the moment. I feel as though I’m on the hem of some magnificent world that will accept me for who I am. I pray that God gives me the grace and patience to live life in moments, instead of waiting for something to come. High school has been a roller coaster ride for me, with its joys, heartbreaks, and surprises. While I’m definitely ready to move on, I’m not finished yet. And I intend to make the most of my last days as a carefree and somewhat innocent seventeen year old girl. God knows it’ll get harder from here, but I’m up for the challenge:)
